Events - Sintirj held “5th Simpo Tec Rio”
The event included six technical lectures on paint performance,
resins, pigments, additives, production equipment and quality
control equipment.
The Union of Paint, Coatings, Vegetable and Animal Oil Manu-
facturers in the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro, known for short
as Sintirj, held the 5th Rio de Janeiro Technical Symposium on
Paints and Varnishes, or “Simpo Tec Rio”, on July 14th, at Centro
Empresarial Rio.
The 5th Simpo Tec Rio raised the bar on technical contents, en-
couraging the development of new technologies and optimization
of existing ones, including raw materials, end products, formula-
tions and processes, among other things. “We expect to consoli-
date our idea, so as to provide our technologists with a unique
opportunity to expand their knowledge,” said Sintirj president
Guilherme de Souza Pires, adding that, consistent with its global
vision, the event involved not only technologists, but also busi-
nessmen, directors, managers and officers. “Those representa-
tives strengthened the event, enabling attendees to keep up with
the developments taking place in the paint and coatings industry
and providing a most beneficial knowledge-update interface.”
