Our solutions include rheology modifiers, emulsions, resins, solvents, andmicrobial control products.” Among the company’s latest developments, Ana Paula stresses some of the highlights: “Bioban 655 is a high-yield, DENVER Denver Especialidades Químicas, part of the Formitex group, provides to the paint and coatings industry several grades of sodium CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose), a cellulosic thickener known by the trade name Induskol, according to technical sa- lesperson Eliene Rodrigues. “While this line comprises several standard products, we always try andmeet customer-specific requirements in terms of viscosity ranges or rheological behavior. To provide what customers need, we have recently developed Induskol T150M/2-RD, an ultra high-viscosity CMC that provides greater value for money.” Another chemical company of the Formitex group is Denver Resinas, and Rodrigues says it is also an active player in this marketwithwell-establishedbrands, suchas theDenvercril RA waterborneandsolvent-borneacrylicemulsions,theDenvercril EJ acrylic thickeners, the Denverflow rheology modifiers, and the DAS Adhesive PVA emulsions. “By reason of the ever- -growingconcernabout environmental issues, DenverResinas providestheindustrywithlow-VOC,phthalate-freeemulsions.”
