introducing some innovations in
its product range for the paint and
coatings industry, while announ-
cing its new investments in both the
industrial and administrative areas.
Keeping its tradition, Cerviflan will
be at the trade show to entertain its
customers, suppliers and friends.
Clariant
Clariant will introduce sustainable
alternatives designed to minimize
the environmental impacts of pro-
duction processes by saving water,
energy and consumables in general.
Among its pigments and additives,
the company will highlight its 70
series of organic pigments, which
replace organic pigments based on
heavy metals without prejudice to
quality. Also on display will be the
Easy Dispersible line of powder or-
ganic pigments consisting of micro-
particles that simplify the paint
production process, reduce costs
and enhance productivity, while
saving energy in the process.
From the Coatings & Construc-
tion Chemicals division, the pro-
ducts being launched are Genapol
ED3060, an additive that reduces
paint formulation costs, APEO-free
emulsifiers, low-VOC defoamers,
and the Nipacide and Fongrabac
lines of low environmental-impact
biocides.
In emulsions, the novelty is Mowi-
lith Ready to Use, a pre-formulated
emulsion base that streamlines pro-
duction while saving energy in the
production of water-based synthetic
varnishes and enables. Other hi-
ghlights include rheology modifiers
that improve viscosity in paints and
textured coatings, and the Emucryl
D dispersant.
Cognis
Environmental awareness grows as
stricter regulations compel profes-

products, including defoamers,
rheology modifiers, wetting agents,
coalescent agents and dispersants.
Cognis will participate in the trade
show with a booth, a lecture on
rheology additives at the congress,
and a holistic approach to green
additives in decorative paints at the
Poster section.
