Among the pieces of equip- ment in the spotlight at the show is First1, a dispenser that simplifies automation for stores. We’re introducing new versions of model D200, the best-selling dispensingmachine in themarketplace over the past fewyears, as well as Evopwr, featuring a new modular technology based on the EVOplatform, which combines the newgeneration 5G control systemand several dispensing technologies, such as the new DFP (dual flow piston) pump, to name one example. Our CLEVERmix mixers, which deliver the best yields and performance in the marketplace, are also on display at our booth.” Cunha points out that the company is also highlighting COROB TOUCH&TINT. “This is one of the first software packages for ta- blets on themarket.Modern, dynamic and intuitive, it is a great tool that, combinedwith the First1 dispensingunit,makes it even easier toexpand the system inpoints of saledealing in smaller volumes, in that it reduces costs andeliminates theneed for aPC.” COVESTRO Covestro is coming to Abrafati 2017 to highlight its Bayhydrol and Bayhydur lines of waterborne polyurethane resins for formu- lating coatings for wood, floors, glass, construction, industrial applications in general, and even metal substrates, according to Silvio Torres, head of Commercial Operations, Latin America. “What sets this technology apart are its mechanical and chemical strength, great gloss and color retention, and long potlife. Our ultra high-solids polyaspartic system, for its part, has the added advantage of drying in less than two hours, with coats as thick as 300 micra. That means greater thickness, a speedy release of the paint job and, as a result, improved productivity.” Torres alsopoints out that if any customer is looking to innovate or differentiate their adhesives, for example, ormaybe needs to complywith national and international regulations limiting solvent consumption and emissions, while shortening process times, then Covestro can help them. “When formulating adhesives for shoes, foams and mattresses, auto parts and wood objects, among other applications, you will certainly benefit from using our Dispercoll U and C waterborne dispersions. Also, the new, environmentally friendly technologies from Covestro are highly efficient alternatives for each type of substrate and its particu- lar requirements.
