Latincoat & Adhesives 2010 Special - It’s time for

Latincoat & Adhesives 2010, to be held by Agnelo
Editora from October 26 to 29 at Espaço Apas, in São
Paulo, will comprise a series of technical lectures and an
exhibition of products and technologies for industrial
coatings, printing inks, decorative paints, coatings in
general, adhesives and sealants. The trade show is focu-
sed on technologies that promote improvements in pro-

It’s time for one more Latincoat & Adhesives, a trade show put together by Agnelo Editora, now in its fifth
edition. The cycle of technical lectures and the exhibition of products and technologies for industrial and other
coatings, printing inks, decorative paints, adhesives and sealants will be taking place on October 26 to 28 at
Espaço Apas, in São Paulo.
Firmly established in the paint and coatings market, Latincoat & Adhesives 2010 is bringing high-end lectures
covering unprecedented themes, focusing especially on environmental and sustainability issues. It will be yet
another great opportunity for refreshing knowledge and exchanging information.
This issue of the Paint & Pintura magazine brings you a special piece on Latincoat & Adhesives 2010, and you
will see first-hand all of the subjects that will be covered by national and international lecturers, who will em-
phasize innovative technologies which prioritize sustainability, as well as the new products and services from
major companies in the paint and adhesive industries, who will be there as exhibitors.
In this issue, we also bring you an exclusive interview with Anamaco’s president Claudio Conz, who will deliver
the plenary meeting opening speech entitled “Retail in Construction Materials,” talking about the positive mo-
ment in the industry and its prospects for growth over the next few years. From January to August of this year,
the construction materials industry gained 10.6 percent compared to the same period of last year. Anamaco
represents more than 138,000 retailers spread all over the country, and is an integral part of a complex called
“ConstruBusiness,” which accounts for 13 percent of Brazil’s GDP. In addition, the building and construction
business, taken as a whole, employs 15 million people, 4 million of whom directly. That means that the indus-
try directly contributes to the results and growth of the paint business.
