CLIPPING a president who has sometimes been a bit rough around the edges, but at the same time, inmy view, he’s trying to do some good to the country, along with a rather interesting team in his cabinet. Many good things are already happening around the country, though, sadly, the people can’t seemuch of them on the mainstream media, whereas I, as good Brazilian, even before this administration, already believed in the country and rooted for it to move forward and into a better situation. So, I believe all of us, as Brazilians, even those who aren’t big fans of a given political leader or the president, should be rooting for our country to succeed. Accordingly, I remain confident, banking on our business and investing in it, which is something that reflects directly in our events, such as the forums we hold in various areas in Brazil, the Paint & Pintura Awards for the North and Northeast, and this grand event here that’s regar- ded as the ‘Oscar’ night of the coatings industry.” Later into his speech, Mr. Barros Neto mentioned ABRAFATI 2019, which is going to take place on October 1st through 3rd, 2019, in São Paulo, with an expected turnout of 15,000 people. “We are certainly going to participate in that event, giving it our support and showing that Agnelo Editora is on Abrafati’s side with total synergy, so that wemay increasingly see compliant products coming from the industry and that the industry itself can stay up to par, with everyone working together towards that end.” Wrapping it up, he thanked all the audience for attending, particularly one of the founders of Miracema-Nuodex, Mr. Otto Rohr, whose company is cele- brating 65 years of business in the industry. The 23rd Paint & Pintura Awards ceremony was hosted by the journalist, TV host and MC Juliana Franceschi Bento, who is currently in the line-up on the SBT and TV Esporte channels. We’ve also seen a gradual evolution in dispersions featuring unique properties, such as being ready to use and available in specific shades or technically suitable to the various fields of application, and we always have customer satisfaction in mind,” says technical manager Marcelo Caetano. Sintequímica sales officerMarceloAmaral LeitedeMacedo also says that the pigment dispersion market has been booming year after year due to more and more customers looking to rid their plants of the pigment grinding process because it is slow, costly, laborious and does not ensure any saving com- pared ready-to-use products. “We have seen this movement this year, including among large paint producers, whose large production volumes used to be viewed as something that made in-company grinding the best option economically spe-
