CLIPPING PAINT&PINTURA | Abril 2018 | 9 and the growth the coatings industry has experienced in the region. “Our goal is to increasingly organize and bring together the leading businesses in North and Northeast Brazil. This is a really important region where, despite the hardship of the past few years, the coa- tings industry, as well as other sections of themanufacturing sector, has displayed growth above the country’s overage for the past 10 years. As we made that determination, we saw it as an opportunity to replicate the Paint & Pintura Forum, and since we know that we need to innovate at all times in order to continue to succeed, that was exactly what Agnelo Editora has done, bringing these awards over here to recognize the work done by professional individuals and businesses based in the region.” The head of Agnelo Editora also thanked all attendees for their presence, and two professionals in particular: Sindquimica president Marcos Soares, and Hipercolor technical manager Josafa Rebouças, for all of their individual support and contribution. “Without the helping hands of these friends, we certainly wouldn’t have achieved the success we’re experiencing today with our first regional awards. I’m really excited about all of your attendance, and we’ll surely be back here in 2020, as we’re taking a break in 2019. Allow me to take this opportunity to announced that the next forum will be held in March of 2019, in Recife, Pernambuco, and the 2nd Paint & Pintura Regional Awards for the North and Northeast will take place in that state capital as well. So you are all hereby invited to take part. Con- gratulations to the finalists and winners,” Barros Neto concluded. Hosting the award night was the journalist, TV host and master of ceremony Juliana Franceschi Bento, who is currently on the SBT and TV Esporte channels. The proceedings were closed on a swingy, cheerful note by the Baby Dolls Band.
