By increasinglyoptingforpigmentdispersions, theBrazilianpaintand

out that themain requirement addressedby pigment dispersions is
shorter process times. “In thepaintmanufacturingprocess, nothing
takesmore time thanpigment grinding. If apaint producer canuse
anapprovedpigmentdispersionthatcomesreadytogo, inthecolor,
with thequalityandat thecost that itneeds,whywould itbother to
usepigmentgrinding insteadof takingadvantageof that resource to
focusonitscorebusiness,i.e.makingpaints?Majoradvantagestousing
pigment dispersions include extremely shorter total process times,
muchmore consistent color standardmaintenance, reduced losses,
fewer color adjustments requiredduring the process (which is also
cleaner),and lowerendcosts.”
