primer systems: the key to versatili-
ty and high performance.”
Imerys
Imerys will be at Abrafati 2009
highlighting its new line of high-
performance, ultrafine, natural
kaolins for decorative paints with
semi-gloss or satin-touch effects,
as well as protective and furniture
coatings, the new generation in
the Blasmite line of slurries, and
products for the decorative paint
market. In addition, the company is
soon to launch a new dry PCC line
for the paint industry, a robust, di-
fferentiated and innovative product.
Inbra
In a world economic scenario that
has created great expectations and
concerns, Inbra, a manufacturer
of additives for coatings and other
products, will be at Abrafati 2009
telling its 70 years’ history and
showing how it has evolved. Inbra
will be represented by a united team
committed to its performance and
development.
Inbra is now celebrating its 70 years
of existence, and because it is a 100-
percent Brazilian company, it con-
tinues to believe, grow and invest
in spite of the effects of the world
crisis since the last quarter of 2008.
The steps taken by the company
to cope with the tough times have
been all focused on stimulating the
business and its collaborators to
further improve the market. Inbra
believes in a humanized company
and that difficulties bring opportu-
nities.
At Abrafati 2009, rather than
launching new products, the com-
pany will be exhibiting the same
products, but improved to provide
better performance. It will also hi-
ghlight its new plant and increased
capacity. That is meant to demons-
trate this company’s credibility in
Brazil, as well as among its em-
ployees and customers. In addition,
Inbra will show how it is increasin-
gly concerned with the quality of its
products and services.
Inbra will exhibit the following
items: aluminum stearate (thixo-
tropic agent); zinc stearate (thicke-
ner, dispersant, and waterproofing
agent); Markstab TPP (antioxidant);
and Drapex 6.8 (epoxidized soybean
oil —plasticizer).
Inkmaker
With its automatic feeding sys-
tems for flagship, Inkmaker has
been investing in new automation
technologies for over 20 years. The
company is now present all over
the world, providing processes that
enable fast and accurate paint fee-
ding, with high quality and reduced
production costs.
Inkmaker’s feeding equipment is
software-managed and controlled
by CLPs, ensuring traceability and
efficiency in the paint manufactu-
ring process.
Inkmaker will introduce an Italian
technology to the Brazilian ma-
rket: the Solvent Recovery Machi-
ne, which provides major savings
without prejudice to quality, in that
it reduces new solvent purchases by
more than 90 percent. In addition,
the equipment eliminates waste
disposal problems, as it reuses the
very waste, creating a solvent use
and treatment cycle.
The company will also introduce a
washing system for buckets, tanks
and containers in general, a pro-
duct that fully washes containers
in an easy, effective way, without
wasting and chemicals and requi-
ring no operator interference. It is
an ATEX-compliant equipment for
use with solvents.
Ipel
In the market since 1989, Ipel spe-
cializes in providing microbiological
control solutions, while keeping a
tradition of innovation and techno-
logy. At Abrafati 2009 the company
will launch its dry preservation
products and multifunctional emul-
sions FBP-458, FAP-791 and FABP-
845, which are all environmentally
friendly products. They are low-
viscosity, very low-odor water-based
products with no solids in suspen-
sion which provide fungicidal, alga-
ecidal-fungicidal and bactericidal-
fungicidal-algaecidal action. Such
features make them easy to handle,
safe, less toxic and outstandingly
effective. Another highlight at Ipel’s
booth will be the BP-503 and BP-
509 bactericides, which are free of
aldehyde donors and meet the most
stringent occupational and environ-
mental requirements.
Ipel will also exhibit its microbio-
logical control and management
system (biocontrol), which includes
fast monitoring kits, microbiolo-
gical diagnosing services, and a
comprehensive range of sanitization
and control for industrial facilities.
Microbiological control combined
with good manufacturing practices
is a concept increasingly accepted
and considered indispensable to the
development of the market, as Ipel
will be illustrating at its booth, whi-
le being perfectly in line with the
production of “paints of the future”
(the theme for this year’s exhibit).
Intertank
In the market for 28 years, Inter-
tank will be showing its latest IBC
(Intermediate Bulk Containers) used
for transporting and storing hazar-
dous liquid chemicals. Manufactu-
red in strict compliance with Bra-
zilian and international standards,
Intertank’s IBCs allow users to work
safely and comfortably. Their great
portability and compatibility with a
wide variety of chemicals streamline
production processes, generating
major cost savings (invisible costs
are eliminated). Their configuration
meets the most stringent customer
requirements.
Isogama
Visitors to Isogama Indústria
Química’s booth at Abrafati 2009
will be introduced to its launches
for paints and textured coatings.
The company has great expectations
for the trade show, as it will receive
customers not only from all over
Brazil, but also other countries in
