Paint & Pintura Holds Three Forums for the
FirstHalfandReportsRecordRegistrations
Paint & Pintura held three regional forums in the initial
monthsof 2014whichexceeded theexpectationsof the
eventorganizerAgneloEditoraandofall attendees.
The three forums that have taken place this year had
record audiences, totalingmore than 500 registered at-
tendees. In addition,more than 30 sponsors adhered to
the forums.
The forums that havealready takenplace this yearwere
held inmajorBraziliancities:Fortaleza,Ceará,onMarch12
and13,Criciúma,SantaCatarina,onApril23,andLondrina,
Paraná,onMay22.
For the secondhalf, AgneloEditorahas scheduled three
moreforums inthefollowingcities:Guarulhos,SãoPaulo,
inAugust; RibeirãoPreto, SãoPaulo, in September; and
Goiânia,Goiás, inOctober.

After so many years as an important market player,

usedbythecompany’sheadquarters intheUnitedStates
andwerenotavailable inBrazil.Toaddressthatproblem,
weestablishedCesal, acompanywhoprovided technical
supportforthepurchaseofspecialtyrawmaterials.Cesal
grew so rapidly that it couldno longer serve themarket
outside business hours. For that reason, we decided to
startanewcompanyand leaveAmericanMarietta. Itwasonly
then that Iembraced the ideaof leaving thecompany to joina
newbusiness,”says technical directorCarlosRusso.
Andso itwasthat,I1964,Adeximwasborn(Adeximbeingshort
forAdministraçãodeExportaçãoeImportação) inasmalloffice
atAvenida Ipiranga, downtownSãoPaulo. “Adexim setup its
business inatotalareaof34squaremeters, inpartnershipwith
PieroLuoni.Asthecompanygrewfastandourmanagementof
importsandexportsandrepresentationofrawmaterialswere
no longerenoughtomeetthedemand,weneededa local inven-
tory.Therefore,wecreatedComexim(ComérciodeExportação
e Importação) toservecustomerwhoneededproduct froma
local inventory, andwe rentedawarehousewithapartner at
Rua25deMarço, also indowntownSãoPaulo,”Russosays.
According toRusso, Adexim-Comexim currently stands in the
marketplaceasa supplierof specialties. “Thismeanswehave
a rather sophisticatedproduct range. Inactuality,weare fully
approvedbyallmultinationalpaintcompaniesthathaveopera-
tions inBrazil.”
